1. Choosing Your Finish: Matte vs. Gloss Paper
The "finish" of your poster completely changes how the colours and light interact with the art. Here is the kddesigns6 breakdown of our two options:
- Matte Paper: Matte paper has no glare or reflection, making it perfect for rooms with lots of natural light. It provides a sophisticated, smooth texture that makes dark colours feel deep and premium.
- Gloss Paper: Our Glossy finish has a high-shine coating. This makes the colours appear more vibrant and "pop" off the page. While it looks great for high-action shots, be mindful of reflections if you plan to hang it directly opposite a window.
2. Framing Your kddesigns6 Poster: Sizes & Dimensions
To ensure your new art fits perfectly in your home, we offer our prints in standard international sizes. Whether you are looking for a small desk accent or a large feature piece, here are the dimensions you need to know:
| Size | Dimensions (mm) | Dimensions (cm) |
|---|---|---|
| A5 (Small/Desk) | 148 x 210 mm | 14.8 x 21.0 cm |
| A4 (Standard) | 210 x 297 mm | 21.0 x 29.7 cm |
| A3 (Large/Feature) | 297 x 420 mm | 29.7 x 42.0 cm |
When framing your kddesigns6 art, keep these tips in mind:
- A5 Prints: Perfect for shelving units or small gallery walls.
- A4 Prints: The most versatile size - standard A4 frames are available in almost every home decor store.
- A3 Prints: The best choice for a focal point. Use a mount to bring the total frame size up to A2 for a high-end gallery look.
